Below is the Test Case edit window. The most important concept to grasp is that of the different types of Test Cases. For each Test Case type you will need to specify different types of data. If you change the 'Script Type:' option you will see the 'Test Case Steps' pane change accordingly. In the screenshot below the 'Test Case Steps' pane is for a Website project (Webscript). Web scripts are designed to allow you to test web sites against multiple or singular browsers. The first step must always contain a URL to ensure that Vienna has a starting point. You can add a URL into any of the steps thereafter but normally you would want the user to navigate through the site following the steps described. You should input a URL, the action you want the user to complete and the expected result of the step.
You may also associate a requirment with a test case in this window.

As you start executing yout Test Cases (using the Test Runner) and either pass, fail or raise defects against them, the Stauts on the main Test Cases window will automatically change. You will also notice it captures the time taken (Duration) to run that Test Case. If you have created multiple Test Steps for a Test Case (which you may not necessarily want to do if you are running an agile test project) you will notice in the screenchot below you can see all Test Steps for the selected Test Case at the foot of the main Test Case window, and their individual status.
