Whenever you open 'Vienna - Test Management' you will be presented with the following screen...
On this screen you can chose to open previously created projects, or create a new project. When creating a new project you have the choice of four different Project Types. Each Project Type sets the default Test Case type you work with. These Test Case types are as follows:
- Webscript: A webscript allows you to specify a URL for the test case and within any of the steps. This will automatically be launched in a browser during the test execution.
- Webscript with Screens: A webscript with screens allows you to specify a URL and an image to compare the web page with. This type is designed for Design verification of a website.
- Application: An application script allows you to specify the path to an executable. Vienna will then launch the application or executable. This is a method that can be used to launch an automated script.
- Application with Screens: An application with screens webscript allows you to launch an application and specify an image to compare with the application screen. This type is designed to verify application design.
